Kaizen Health Foundation, with the generous support of its sponsors and volunteers, promptly came to the aid of a young breastfeeding mother suffering from a severe skin condition. Despite battling this condition for several months, financial challenges had prevented her from seeking medical attention.
The Foundation’s founder, Dr. Aaron Atogembasia, became aware of her plight while performing his pharmacist duties at the Bongo District Hospital in Ghana’s Upper East Region. Recognizing the seriousness of her condition, Dr. Aaron mobilized resources through the Foundation’s sponsors and volunteers to ensure she received immediate care.
The woman was referred to a dermatologist, where she received the necessary treatment and is now responding well to care. Additionally, the Foundation provided her with financial assistance to support her upkeep during recovery.
