At Kaizen Pharmacare Health Foundation, we’re committed to making a difference, one patient at a time. A recent case that touched our hearts involved AK, a two-year-old boy who suffered a broken hand after a fall. Unfortunately, AK’s family turned to traditional remedies instead of seeking immediate medical attention. Over time, the untreated injury became severely infected and gangrenous, requiring urgent medical intervention.
Without health insurance and facing the need for a life-saving amputation, AK’s family was in distress. Dr. Aaron Atogembasia, the Foundation’s founder and a ward pharmacist where AK was admitted, reached out to a dedicated supporter, Hajia Rabi, for help. Thanks to her compassionate intervention, Hajia Rabi covered AK’s surgery, medical bills, and post-operative medication, and even provided additional financial support for the family’s upkeep during this challenging time.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Hajia Rabi for her invaluable support, which exemplifies the mission of Kaizen Pharmacare Health Foundation—to bring hope and healing to those in need.
